Performance: Twelfth Night

“Foolery, sir, does walk about the orb like the sun; it shines everywhere.”

Comedy for a summer's evening, presents a cavalcade of some of Shakespeare's best characters: the brother and sister identical twins parted a shipwreck, the drunken Sir Toby, the foolish Sir Andrew, the pompous Malvolio: everyone's in love with someone, and that causes confusion, cross-dressing and comedy galore.

A great laughter-filled show that is is ideal for introducing young children and anyone to the Bard, as well as for those revisiting the play finding joy and new nuggets of Shakespeare's magic.

Performance: Othello

“I do love thee! and when I love thee not, Chaos is come again.”

First time Rainbow Shakespeare has tackled this most exciting and thrilling of all dramas, and how we are looking forward to sharing the experience with our lovely audiences! Othello, an outsider, is needed by the State of Venice for his skills as a general.

However scandal arises when he marries the young daughter of a Venetian nobleman, and his 'honest' NCO, Iago, undermines Othello's naive all consuming love for his new bride, with hints at her lack of innocence.

Wonderful characters that will have you on the edge of your deckchairs or picnic rugs.
