A small group has been formed as the ‘Friends of Highdown’ but more ‘Friends’ are needed!
Volunteers can assist with a variety of light conservation work within the gardens, and any spare time that you may have, could well be rewarded by just being in such a beautiful garden environment.
The Friends Group meet on the last Friday of the month, from 9.00am to 12noon, and carry out a wide variety of gardening works under the direction of the Highdown Manager and staff.
It is a friendly, informal group who all enjoy gardening, and being outdoors.
We cancel the meeting in adverse weather conditions, so you can rest assured we will not have you working in the rain or the snow!
